- The Latest Gym Equipment In Technogym’s First Ever ‘Interactive Concept Store’
Technogym introduced the “Interactive Concept Store” – not just a showroom – it’s a place where people come and have live experience with the gym equipment.
Technogym – the company behind the high-tech machines you see in most commercial gyms – has opened its first-ever “fully interactive” concept store in Milan, a 750-square-foot 3-story building where people can test out the latest fitness equipment.
Technogym’s innovative new space is designed to cater for “an increasing demand for fitness products and services” and is aimed at those participating in general exercise, professional sports, or rehabilitation. Brimming with innovations and technology, the Italian company promises the store will be more than just a retail outlet, offering the public “the latest interactive wellness solutions”.
NEW INTERACTIVE SHOWROOM
The ground floor will feature the latest range of TechnoGym products, such as the recently launched innovative indoor cycle training product called MyCycling and the soon-to-be-launched SkillRow, the first fully connected indoor rowing machine.
There’s also the Personal Line, a bundle of gym machinery consisting of an exercise bike, elliptical trainer and treadmill that features the new UNITY 3.0 console, an entertainment system offers runners the ability to surf the web, use their favorite apps, and watch series with your Netflix account while working out.
Also on display is the MyRun, one of the latest innovations from Technogym that claims to be the most interactive treadmills designed for home use. It seamlessly integrates a native app that syncs to a tablet, offering personalized training programs and instant running feedback.
But it isn’t only the machinery on display at TechnoGym’s new store that is innovative, it also boasts an interactive wall that lets the public take part in ability tests in order to assess physical performance. Instructors will also be on-hand to compile specially-tailored fitness programs for individual needs and goals.
The store’s basement will act as a test center, allowing people to try out the machines on view so they can be trialed before purchase for home use, and the first floor will be dedicated to education. Here TechnoGym will conduct classes, training sessions, workshops and product demonstrations as well as host regular seminars with sports personalities and leading professional players.
Nerio Alessandri, TechnoGym’s Founder and President, said: “Now in Milan we’ve created the first experiential store, which will set the standard for wellness, not only in Italy, but across the globe.” He added that the concept will soon be recreated as a flagship in London.
